I could cry doing P and C. I was attempting to do the Tutorial just now - attempting being the keyword - and despaired after Question 1. Cos the only answer I got right was the 1a). Damn weird lah. P n C is supposed to be the super easy topic that no one has questions about but I screw it up big time. Then while people are moaning over Trig, Integration and Differentiation, I get smug because I have little problems with those. [Of course I have my wonderful one-and-only tuition teacher cum cousin-in-law to thank for the latter]
Which means. Poor Lincoln is going to get harrassed about maths once again.
THE BLOGSKIN ROCKS MY SOCKS! I'm sorry but Lincoln, I wouldn't change the blogskin to fit the description if it were up to me ><
Just curious. Do the other girls already wearing the HC uniform get weird comments too? One guy told me I look like a J2 (He claims that's supposed to mean matured, but it could also mean old) another told me I look cute and a third told me I look better in it than the NY one. What rubbish.
I don't know if this matters to you all, but HC (JC section) was the Biggest Winner at YAWP! One of the teams emerged champs, plus we won Best Solo Performance and Best Original Poem!
For those who don't know, YAWP stands for Young Adult Writers Perform. It's a poetry recital - organised by ELDDFS Lit Wing - that is NOTHING like the usual reading/analysis of a poem. It's practically drama and theatre here. YAWP's open to other schools to compete in.
Somehow I'm glad I got accidentally involved in YAWP. (I'm in Drama wing, not Lit.) But Kai Jun (YAY FELLOW ARESIAN) and I were asked to do front-of-house, so we did =) At first I thought YAWP would be a little dry, especially for those not into poetry, but it's actually quite fun to watch. It gets more and more intriguing.
And as usual, my LD seniors were damn good hamming it up for filler items. (I think we're gonna find it hard to fill their shoes)
Haha. The lit people may find one of the poems quite significant to our valiant (failing) attempts at digging deep into poems.
If poems were meant to have four blankets of meaning

Hmm I think a lot of people in our class are gonna be involved in Founder's Day? Jia you all the sports people! I have faith in all of you!! Just go there, have fun and do it for the Faculty! Take good care, don't get injured or tire yourselves out! Hope our organising comm will do us proud too! (does anyone know who's in it?)
All those who intend to run for council elections jia you!! To quote the 33rd SC, may this be the run of your lives!
